Lyon would walk slightly behind and to the left of Elghinn, her chains still marking her progress as they would walk out onto the grounds, heading toward the forbbiden forest, Lyon's black eyes taking in everything while she squinted at the sun's rays. It would be hard for her to see everything out in such light, though she kept trying to keep her eyes as open as they would go, not wanting to miss a single detail of the grounds around her as she was always the one to know her surroundings. Everything she was seeing was being committed to memory, as well, for further knowladge. And then finally that same, insane-looking smirk was back upon her face as they neared a large grouping of trees that extended out as far as both of their eyes together could see, and Lyon knew they had arrived at the outskirts of the forbidden forest. Chuckling softly and extending her elbow to the arm of the young woman who was now at her side, she said quietly, "If you want, you still have time to go back if you don't want the Big Bad Boss Lady coming down on your head. I heard she throws people in that same dungeon we just came from for no reason at all."

She looked at the girl with her dark eyes, the grin never fading from her face, she spoke with a sarcastic tone.
"Oh please, Not the dungeon" She started to cackle then stopped abruptly hoping she didn't freak the girl out. She fiddled with the studded belt around her waist, then stepped into the darkness of the trees, shouting back to Lyon "Come on, lets go.~"

Lyon would laugh softly, not seemingly freaked out at all, and would continue to follow the woman, this time even with her as she walked on the left side of her. As they would move through the forest, the canopy of trees would block out the sun and make Lyon able to see a little better within the darkness. She would be slightly grinning, taking in everything as she continued to walk by the side of the woman named Elghinn, the chains on her shoes and around her waist marking her every step as they moved deeper and deeper still into the forest.

The silence beyond the laughter made the trip more worthwhile as they continued to make their progress along the forest. Elghinn was never the one to stop talking or joking, so to make pointless chit chat she would ask random questions. "So..How come you have chains around your ankles and waist?" Her face showed minimum interest, as she brushed her long hair from her face, to show her naturally rather pale cheeks.

Lyon blinked and the seemingly random question that had come out of nowhere, her black eyes moving over the form of the woman before she replied, "Because... they keep me grounded..." she said, a slight frown then marring her face as she thought her answer might not make that much sense to her new companion, but she knew any explination she gave wouldn't be understood as well, so she glanced at the ground, then continuing to move through the forest as a soft noise suddenly became evident to the two women. A slight rustling in the bushes, a little ways in front of where they were.

An even more insane look appeared on her face when she heard the rustling of bushes, she looked at the female companion by her side, then picked up a small stick and smacked the bush once, hoping whatever it was would jump out at them. She was always the one to push things to far when she was a kid, she was always the one to be suspected if something or someone went missing. She let out another cackle as it was only a small animal, her face showing the mark of disappointment.

Lyon's black eyes would watch as the small squirel would run out of the bushes, shaking her head and chuckling softly, but they would both be surprised when the squirel suddenly reared up onto it's back legs and suddenly leapped into the air, landing on Elghinn's head, it's claws getting caught in her hair as it moved around quickly, making strange sounds. Lyon would be laughing, unable to help it as the squirel continued to ravage Elghinn's hair.

Elghinn's already ruffled hair was being made worse by the squirrel, she huffed slightly, as her long nimble arm reached up grabbing it by its tail and and placed it back on the floor. She giggled slightly as the squirrel then ran off into the trees. Not even bothered about her ruffled messy hair she walked on her eyes fixed on specific place in the forest.

Chuckling as well, Lyon continued to walk with Elghinn, her hands shoved deeply in her pockets and her black eyes ever alert as she would finally say, "I don't understand why they say this place is supposed to be forbidden... I mean... there's barely anything here but trees and foliage." She would then shrug. "I mean, for something so supposedly dangerous, I haven't seen one creature besides a rabid squirel that likes hair." Lyon would then grin, and send a glance over toward her companion.

She nodded her eyes narrowing at the companion as she spoke about the rabid squirrel, "You know, I don't think they lik--" her words stopped dead as she heard a loud howl and many snapping twigs. "Ermm.. I guess thats the reason we're not to be here?" Her face wouldn't show fear, but it would show that she had found the answer to her companions question. "say why don't we go see what's happening?" Once again she was taking it way to far.

Lyon would grin and nod, her feet already moving and her chains clanking and marking her progress as this time she took the lead, moving to where the noise was as she chuckled lowly and said, "Now this might be interesting. Hey, pick up that stick you had before. Just incase you, you know, freeze up again." This, to Lyon, would be said in a joking manner, but in truth her jokes weren't always taken as funny with others, and so she bit her lip and turned back to where the noise had come from, never slowing once.

She chuckled slightly as she reached down and grabbed the stick, as she reached down she snapped her fingers a pebble hitting the girl before her on the back of the head. She would hold the stick in her hand, she muttered under her breath as she followed the girl. "Well wolves are my favorite animals, so I would not freeze up." She would continue to follow the girl her eyes alert, darting around the clearing that they stood.

The pebble would have come close to hitting Lyon in the back of the head, but at the last moment she ducked forward, at the same time the shadows suddenly snaked up from the ground and caught the pebble, the tiny rock being crushed into mere dust as Lyon suddenly spun around on her heel, moving into a fighting position, her eyes wide and alert before she realized that Elghinn had thrown it. Her reaction time had been instant and startled the woman who was now in front of her, and Lyon just as quickly stood back up, reaching up to the back of her head as if the pebble had indeed hit her. She would then shake her head and mumbled, "Don't do that unless you want to lose a few limbs..." and then turned around, but stopped dead in her tracks. While she had been facing Elghinn, a large wolf had moved out from the bushes behind her. This wolf would be three times as large as a normal wolf, it's long and amazingly sharp fangs bared, it's tongue lolling out to the side, saliva dripping onto the ground as it slowly stalked forward. Behind it would be two more of the immense wolves, snarling. Their fur would be ruffled and marked with blood, though as far as either woman could see, there were no wounds on any of the wolves, leading them both to believe they had recently fed, and the blood that now matted their fur down came from another source. Most likely a source that was now in each of their stomachs.

The girl grinned slightly as she muttered, "I did not throw that. But that is one cute wolf." The girl would walk round the one in front of her, her hands in the air to show a sign of respect, as soon as the wolf had calmed and realized she was no threat, she petted the wolves head. She slowly turned her face from the wolves up to the girls. "Are you okay?"

Lyon would have once again been in a battle crouch, but would slowly straighten as her eyes would take in the wolve's calmed appearances, then nodding her head. "Yeah, just used to having to protect myself. That's... pretty awesome, how you can do that..." She would then say, reffering to how Elghinn had calmed the wolves so quickly.

She tilted her head as she spoke continuing to pet the animal that was with them. "You just have to find the leader of the pack, then show to the leader that you mean no harm, after they realize you are not a foe they will heed." She spoke with experience, her long hair flapping in the wind as her eyes locked onto the girls shoulder, fear striking her face.

Lyon would have been listening intently, nodding, then tilting her head slightly to the left as she watched the other woman's eyes widen, and she then looked at where Elghinn was looking, which was at her shoulder. She would blink, seeing a bat, then simply turn her head back to face Elghinn, seeing the fear on her face and grinning, chuckling and saying, "What's the matter? Don't like these cute, fluffy creatures?" Then Lyon's face would become wondering. "I wonder if there's more around here..." But her spoken question would be answered by a sudden fluttering of wings and screaches, and several bats would suddenly swoop down upon the two of them, several more bats landing on Lyon's shoulder and head, and a few trying to do the same to Elghinn, but several getting caught in her hair like the squirel before, only causing Lyon to laugh a bit more.

She blinked and let the animals resting on her head and shoulders, as she continued to pet the wolf, that was growling at the bats. "They're not cute and they're not fluffy. They're creepy." She glared slightly as she huffed slightly. She shivered slightly as it was getting dark, and colder. Pulling the jacket around her she snuggled into the wolf to gain warmth. "I love wolves. I used to sit with the wolves in my area as a child."

Lyon nodded at her, then saying, "I can understand that, and I guess wolves are kind of nice, but yes, these little guys are cute, and yes, they're /deffinately/ fluffy." Lyon would then say, indignantly, suddenly taking one of the bats off her shoulder and moving forward, holding the bat lightly so that it could fly away if it wanted to, but for some odd reason, it wasn't. Lyon then walked forward and stuck the hand that held the bat out to Elghinn, saying with a small smile, "Here, feel. They're very fluffy and soft, too." But in just a few seconds, as there would still be bats circling around their heads, several more would land on Lyon's outstretched arm, seemingly drawn to her for some unknown reason.

She moved backwards slightly, at how many bats she had attracted. "Ermm. Bats seem to like you. Maybe its the thing you do with your shadows." She pondered. She blinked a couple of times her hand still petting the wolves head absently minded. She reached out one hand, her index finger stroking the bat warily. She then let out a little squeak of fear as it jumped from her finger and flew away.

Lyon would look startled at the sudden yelp and blink as the bat would then fly away. She would look after the bad wistfully as it joined the other flying creatures that circled above their heads and lowered her arm, watching then as the bats that had landed on her arm clung to the fabric covering said arm, looking comical as they would then be seemingly standing sideways on her hanging limb. Her face would fall just slightly, but she would cover it up with a small smirk and say softly, "Felt like velvet, right...?"

"Yeah... Velvet." She spoke with an uneasy edge to her voice. "I think we should get back now. Its getting pretty dark." She rose from the floor petting the wolf one last time as she ran back into the dark enveloping forest. She would walk past the women not saying a word. Her walking speed would decrease as she got further away she then stopped at the edge of the forest waiting for the girl who would obviously come clanking behind her, almost mechanical.

The clanking that would mark Lyon's progess behind her, however, did not come as the woman would have expected. Instead, she would still see the bats that were circling above a part of the forest, deep within, and she could tell that Lyon had stayed in the same spot Elghinn had just left. Lyon of course, would continue petting the bats, enjoying the feeling of velvet and fur. Lyon had a feeling of excitement here that she hadn't felt in a long time, being not only surrounded by the very shadows that she controls so well, but being surrounded by creatures that seemed to flock to her endlessly. In fact, Lyon didn't really want to leave, and by the time that she actually realized Elghinn was no where in sight or hearing range, it was already full-blown night time, and the wind was howling through the trees as the large wolves had howled before. The tempeture had dropped to an almost freezing 34 degrees, but it didn't seem to bother Lyon. Instead, she simply leaned backward against a tree, still standing in the clearing, stroking and petting and playing with the bats that continued to flock around her, a small smile on her face.

She stood there for what felt like too long in her opinion before she sped off back into the school and into the dorm, not looking back nor worried if Lyon was okay. She figured if Lyon was in danger she would be fine and able to protect herself. She was half way through the forest when her pant leg snagged onto a rose bush. She yanked on her pants biting her lip in pain when her leg was tore open by the thorns. "Ow" She mumbled under her breath every time she placed her leg on the floor; limping she was slowly heading for her dorm which she obviously couldn't remember the number of.

But before Elghinn made it to the girl's dormitories, a bat suddenly flew overhead, not landing on her but instead landing in front of her, on a small, growing tree in the garden. It's beady black eyes would look at her curiously, almost ominously, giving Elghinn a small fright and sending a chill down her spine. It would just be the lone bat, but still...
